NJM Training Run

Sunday I got to head out to the NJ Marathon course in Long Branch to get in on a New Jersey Road Runners Club training run (I joined the NJRRC a couple of weeks ago so I am now officially a member of the Jersey Shore Running Club and the NJRRC - it felt like the right thing to do). The best part of the run was some fellow blogger running with ShoreTurtle, Flyers26 and Joy. It was our first time meeting Joy - if she found us despicable she was very polite and didn't say so (I will have to cruise on over to her blog to get the real scoop).

Congratulations to Rafael Nadal winning the Australian Open. Rafa & Federer were in the middle of the third set when I left the house to go to Long Branch - made it a little hard to walk out the door.
